Pubs, Pots and Profits
Seminars of interest to all hoteliers with the purpose of providing timely information regarding topical industry issues, new technologies and sound business methods to assist business growth.
An interactive panel discussion gives attendees an insight into some of the tried and tested marketing techniques employed by experienced hoteliers, from across Victoria, to aid cost savings and profitability in similar business operations.
Pubs, Pots and Profits seminars are held in both metropolitan and regional locations at times convenient to you (typically Tuesday’s or Wednesday’s, 10am – 2pm)
AHA (Vic) AGM Luncheon
AHA (Vic) Councillors, Life Members, Associate and Corporate Members and hospitality industry identities come together following a review of the Association’s financial performance at the AHA (Vic) Council/Annual General Meeting held earlier in the day.
AHA (Vic) Council Luncheons
A democratically elected Council, consisting of seventy nine hoteliers from across Victoria meet throughout the year to discuss important issues of the day. Meetings are hosted on the second Tuesday of the month at AHA (Vic) Offices, 10am for a 10.30am start. AHA (Vic) members are welcome to attend these meetings as observers. Please note there are no scheduled council meetings for the months of June and November in 2011.
A luncheon is hosted at a member hotel immediately following this meeting where hoteliers and Associate and Corporate partners of AHA (Vic) can interact in a convivial setting to discuss business opportunities and new ideas.
AHA (Vic) State Awards for Excellence
The AHA (Vic) Annual State Awards for Excellence is a celebration of the diversity and success of metropolitan and regional Victorian hotels. Award nominations are received from a wide range of venues, all vying for success in one of at least thirty one award categories.
Separate Awards for Excellence events are held for AHA (Vic) Accommodation (3,4 and 5 star hotels) and General Division (metropolitan and regional pubs/hotels).
